JOHN & YOKO

MF DOOM

BOGIE & BACALL.

Very honoured to say that this piece won 1st place in Facebook's Caricaturama Showdown 3000. For those that don't know, CS3000 is a very popular weekly competition within the caricature art community. Some of the best of the best sometimes take the time to contribute, so for little old me to actually win it, is an amazing feeling. Plus reassuring to my sensitive artist ego lol.

MARVIN GAYE Pencil sketch

Jules Winnfield (Samuel L Jackson)

Pulp Fiction....... Still my favourite movie of all time, and Jules Winnfield is still up there as one of my all time favourite characters.... A portrait was way long overdue! Hope I did him justice.

The Joker

Not really a caricature this time. Didn't want there to be any traces of humour on this one... The aim was just to capture the character's aura of evil.

Jimi Hendrix

Gotta love Jimi! ('',)

Bob Marley

?uestlove, Pencil Sketch

Rest in Peace Trayvon Martin

Wanted to take a little break from the digital art and shake off some of the rust with a good old pencil sketch. It really has been awhile.
Not entirely happy with the finished result, but still thought I'd share.

Lemmy Kilmister

Done for Facebook's Caricaturama Showdown 3000. Really was a lot of fun :)

Jean Reno

The great French actor, Jean Reno.

Josephine Baker

Randomly ended up watching a very cool documentary about her, a few days ago.... For those that might not know, Josephine was kinda like the Beyonce/Rihanna of her day, and definitely one of the first black superstars.
If you're peeping, I hope you like what you see. :)

Mars Blackmon (Spike Lee)

"Please baby, please baby, please baby, baby baby please!" :D

RAKIM

A tribute piece to one of Hip Hop music's most influential artists.
If you're peeping this, I hope you like what you see. :)

Michael Jackson

Before the fame destroyed him.

BRUCE LEE

AMY WINEHOUSE

Wow... Has it really been 5 MONTHS since my last post. Disgraaceful... Shame on me.
Well, here is a digital painting of the late great Amy Winehouse. If you happen to see it, I hope you like. Really was a lot of fun to do, hopefully it shows.
Rip Amy.

Liam Neeson

More caricature fun. ('',)

Gil Scott Heron (Finished)

At last, my tribute painting is finally finished. If you're seeing it, I hope you like it.

Rest in Peace brother Gil.
